Investments across the riding of Oak Ridges-Markham; here is a list of the locations on the map. 

  1. New Public Elementary School and childcare spaces in Cornell.
  2. New JK-12 Catholic school and childcare spaces in Stouffville.
  3. Bill Hoggarth Secondary School opened in 2017.
  4. Fred Varley Public Elementary School opened  in 2015.
  5. Barbara Reid Public School opened in 2017.
  6. $43,800 in Multicultural Community Grants to organizations in Markham and Richmond Hill.
  7. $30,000 to organizations in King, Markham and Stouffville to assist seniors to remain healthy, active and socially connected.
  8. $105,065 to the Township of King for adaptive sporting programs for children and youth  with disabilities.
  9. $149,875 to King Cole Ducks to support their local food project.
  10. $990,497 to the City of Markham and $30,000 to Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville for local cycling infrastructure.
  11. New GO Station at Bloomington Road opens  in 2019.
  12. Gormley GO Station with 850 parking spaces and electric vehicle charging stations opened  in 2016.
  13. All day GO Train service to the Stouffville  GO Line beginning June 2017.
  14. Additional $13.7 million investment in home  and community care for Central LHIN.
  15. Providing internet service to residents and businesses with $825,000 towards the King Township Fibre Optic Broadband Expansion.
  16. Investing $89.9 million to add more lanes to Highway 400.
  17. Senior Community Grants to the Markham Sunglow Senior and Family Association  and the Stouffville Golden Years Club.
  18. York University Campus in Markham, opening  in 2021.
  19. Funding to support the Canadian National Wakeboard Championships in King Township.
  20. Investments to the Markham, Stouffville, Richmond Hill and King Township Libraries  to improve technology and promote  computer literacy.
  21. $10,404 to the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville for the WS Walks Program.
  22. $59 million to Seneca College's King  Campus Expansion.
  23. Grants to Sam Chapman Public School and Wendat Village Public School to encourage more parental involvement in student success.
  24. Additional parking spaces at the  King GO Station.
  25. Investments to the Children’s Treatment Network of Simcoe York.
  26. Cider, beer, and wine available at grocery stores in many locations across York Region.
  27. $56,250 to Top Tomato Foods Ltd. Farm for retrofits to improve existing facility.
  28. $23,257 to Markham & East York Agricultural Society for their portable demonstration kitchen.
  29. Investing in after school programs at HG Bernard Public School.
  30. Opening of the Markham Fertility Centre and the York Fertility Centre offering government funded fertility treatments.
  31. $732,180 to Health for All Family Health Team.
  32. Expanding carpool lot at Highway 400/9, adding 173 parking spots and reconstructing the Highway 400/9 interchange and replacing Highway 9 bridges.
  33. Investing $298,945 to reduce waitlists for pre-school speech and language program.
  34. $91,709 to the Township of King to support improvements and repairs to roads, bridges, water and wastewater projects.
  35. $102,514 to the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville to support improvements and repairs to roads, bridges, water and wastewater projects.
  36. $25,000 to Friends of the Rouge Watershed to support the planting of 10,000 trees.
  37. Supporting the Markham Museum and Motus O. Dance Theatre for Ontario’s 150th Anniversary initiatives.
  38. $440,600 in funding for Participation House for upgrades and repairs.
  39. $52,000 toward Schomberg Main Street Revitalization.
  40. Upgrades and repairs to Reesor Park  Public School, Ramer Wood Public School,  St. Edward’s Catholic School, St. Brother Andre Catholic High School, and Bur Oak Secondary School.
